Dr. Bradley Powers is passionate about treating vision problems that interfere with children’s ability to read, learn, and pay attention. Some common conditions that he treats are convergence insufficiency, reading difficulties including tracking problems, double vision, lazy eye (amblyopia), and crossed/wandering eyes (strabismus). Dr. Powers also treats vision problems that result from traumatic head injuries, surgeries, or concussions. He provides non-surgical treatment for these conditions through Vision Therapy, a custom program of exercises to strengthen the eyes and brain to eliminate vision problems.

Dr. Powers completed his Doctorate of Optometry at The Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He knew that he wanted to work in the healthcare field because he is passionate about serving others. Optometry was the right fit because he gets to elevate others' enjoyment of life by providing a clearer view of it. He has gained experience working in various settings including Japan, Florida, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania. In addition, he’s worked alongside the special Olympics, low-income schools, low vision clinics, and surgery centers. He strives to become an expert at treating children and helping them to overcome vision-related learning problems that are causing them to struggle in school.
