Dr. Daniel Greathouse is an esteemed optometrist serving patients across all Eye Associates locations in Columbia, Charleston, and Georgia. Originally from a suburb of Chicago, Illinois, he earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Indiana University in Bloomington. He continued his education at the Indiana University School of Optometry, where he completed his Doctorate of Optometry.

In 2020, Dr. Greathouse achieved Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry, specializing in advanced contact lens fitting, particularly scleral and specialty lenses. He is a proud member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Optometry, the American Optometric Association, and the South Carolina Optometric Physicians Association.

In addition to his optometric practice, Dr. Greathouse serves as a Major in the United States Army Reserves, showcasing his dedication to both his profession and his country. With a passion for improving vision and a commitment to exceptional patient care, Dr. Greathouse is dedicated to helping each patient achieve optimal eye health.
